One of B.C.'s largest indie marketplaces for handmade and locally designed wares.
Established in 2011, Refresh Market was created to celebrate artisan culture, and build a new community of local artists, designers and indie shop owners.
Known for its highly edited mix of locally made clothing, jewelry, dry goods and more, Refresh remains one of the most talked about indie markets in B.C., featuring 100 artists, small shops and brands from across the province alongside food trucks, music and good vibes. The markets attract an average attendance of 3,000 market goers committed to supporting the local economy.
Refresh Market has been featured in the following media outlets: BC Living, Georgia Straight, Daily Hive, Shaw TV, Global BC, Sunset Living, Vitamin Daily and Vancouver Sun.
Refresh Market was founded by Shannon Lorenz and Rachel Boguski, two Squamish locals who bonded over the desire to support local and create what they felt was missing in the community: a really great day of shopping. We are proud to have raised over $7,000 to support local non-profit organizations in our community.
